Since childhood, Andrea and Marcos had always been in contact with the countryside. Andrea is the fourth generation of coffee growers of her family and manage the farm with support of her husband Marcos, who is an agronomist engineer. The couple has 3 sons and one of them is graduated in environmental engineering, helps his parents in this important area. Andrea and Marcos purchased the farm in 1996, and since then, they have been working hard and always searching for high quality standards and sustainability. Currently the farm is mostly mechanized, has an efficient management system, strict hygiene criteria and important certificates such as Rainforest Alliance, UTZ and Certifica Minas. The farm is also a member of BSCA (Brazil Specialty Coffee Association) and is always searching for new technologies, for example, African beds, which was built in 2017. All of these makes “Fazenda do Lobo” one of the specialty coffee farms that has won more contests in the region, the result of a lot of dedication and passion for coffee.
